What is Imports section on GetSales?

Imports is a section on the platform dedicated to adding the Contacts/Companies to GetSales. We have 4 options in terms of Imports:

  • Basic LinkedIn Import

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator Import

  • GetSales plugin/extension Import

Besides the setup and management of Imports themselves, here you have the List of Imports a comprehensive record of your import history.

Why is the Import section Important?

  • In the Import section of the platform you can setup and manage the Imports of Contacts that are an integral part of any Outreach campaign: start, pause, delete (hide) the imports, track the progress and the number of duplicates from this screen.

How to Access and Use the List of Imports:

  1. Finding the Import List:

    • Navigate to the CRM section of GetSales.io.

    • Click on the 'Imports' tab at the top of your screen.

  2. Features of the Import List:

The List of Imports is autosorted from most recent completed to latest.

  • Automatic Refresh: The list is refreshed automatically at set intervals (default is every minute). You can customize this period or refresh manually.

  • Details Displayed: The list shows:

    • Import Type: The nature of each import.

    • Destination List: The list where your contacts are saved.

    • Import Statuses: Including running, paused, or completed.

    • Saved Companies and Contacts: Numbers of companies and contacts successfully imported.

    • Errors: Any errors encountered during import, with a breakdown for clarity.

    • Duplicates: Contacts identified as copies of existing entries on the platform. It can happen if:

      • you're creating imports with different option (e.g. CSV and Sales Navigator), so the links to the profiles might be different, but after enrichment is done, those contacts will be determined identical. In order to not lose the Contact from this List, enable the checkbox 'Move to List if already saved'.

      • you are importing a CSV file that have identical Contacts more than once. If you are importing a CSV file with more than one identical Contacts, the counter will still show only one duplicate.

      • you are importing with Basic search or Sales Navigator and it has duplicates in it

      • you are importing contacts that are already on the platform

The enrichment of Contacts doesn't happen instantly, unless the Contacts already exist in our database. So if you notice that the Contact info isn't updating, just give it some time. If the Contacts are not being enriched after 3 days, drop a message to our support.

  • You have the ability to delete or pause an import. Deleting the import however doesn't delete the Contacts or the List they were saved to, deleting the import hides it from the general list.

  • If you notice that the import you created isn't progressing, check if:

    • Sender Profile has a LinkedIn Account connected

    • Try pausing and running the import again

    • Try recreating the import altogether

    • If nothing helps, drop our support a message through Intercom and we'll try to solve the issue ASAP
