To show good manners and start connecting with your prospects on a personal level, it's a good thing to track who replied and who didn't - and follow-up when needed, isn't it? An easy way to do it is set up Automated follow-up messages.

Here's how you do it:

1. On the Automation page you've been working on, scroll down until you see a branching out node 'Connection Request Accepted'.

2. We need plus button linked to the 'Connected' condition rule. Click on it.

3. In the opened tab choose ‘Send Message’.

4. Now input the text message you want to be sent, thanking the prospect for accepting the connection or whatever you want, truly. Add a cat gif if you want ;)

You can see a toggle 'Send always even if lead replied' under the 'Attach file'. What it does: by default, GetSales.io stops the sequence of messages after the lead first replies - to not mess with authenticity and all. So if after the initial connection message the lead says 'Thanks' - we won't send them the next message, converting him/her to manual management instead.

But if you want us to send the message anyways, feel free to enable that toggle.

5. It all looks clear and concise when separated into several nodes and lists. But let’s not forget that real people get those messages and see activity - that’s why we came up with ‘time delays’ to imitate human behavior. They are already included in the ‘Connection request accepted’ node. Click on it to edit the steps or leave them as it is!

All done, now the only thing left is activating your Automation!

To activate the Automation, enable the toggle on top of the screen - on the right side from the 'Builder' text box.

And that's it! Congratulations on the job well done!

You can track progress of the flow from your workspace, dashboard or the flow itself.
