You can take a sender out of one automation while keeping it active everywhere else. You do not need to delete the sender profile to do this — deleting the profile would affect every automation and disconnect the LinkedIn account, which is almost never what you want.
A common misconception is that removing a sender from a campaign requires deleting the whole sender profile. It doesn't. Remove it at the automation's Senders node instead.
Remove the sender from one automation
Open the automation builder for the campaign you want to change.
Click the Senders node to open its sidebar.
Find the sender you want to remove and remove it from this automation's sender list.
Decide what should happen to that sender's in-progress tasks (contacts assigned to the sender you're deleting):
Do nothing and keep tasks active — the sender will continue executing tasks for the assigned contacts but won't pick up new leads or tasks.
Cancel — all tasks will be canceled and remain at nodes where they were.
Restart this automation — contacts will restart the automation from the beginning but with a different sender.
The sender stays fully active in any other automations it belongs to, and its LinkedIn connection is untouched.
Why not just delete the sender profile?
Deleting the sender profile removes it from every automation (not just this one), disconnects the underlying LinkedIn account from GetSales, and ends warm-up history and metrics for that profile. Use deletion only when you're decommissioning the account entirely.
