The Automation & Tasks Planner is the heart of GetSales β€” a powerful workspace where you control how leads move through outreach steps. This article gives you a clear overview of how it works and how to monitor performance using built-in analytics.

Automation Page Overview

The Automation page in GetSales includes:

Overview of the Automations page β€” includes folders, automation list, templates, and quick stats per automation.

  • A list of all your automations (active and archived)

  • A library of templates for building new automations

  • Progress stats for each automation

Each automation has an Overview section with real-time analytics that help you track performance at a glance.

πŸ’‘ Tooltip: Hover over the numbers on the automation line to learn more about the automation stats.

πŸ“Š What Is Automation Overview Analytics?

Each automation includes a detailed summary panel showing real-time progress and performance breakdown.

Here's what you'll see at a glance on the automation list:

  • Conversion counters – number and percentage of leads that reached conversion points (e.g. accepted a request, opened a message)

  • Contacts breakdown – leads finished, in progress, or failed

  • Task metrics – total tasks queued for execution, by type (connection requests to send, etc.)

Tip: Use the toggle next to the automation name to activate/deactivate as needed.

🚨 Error Tracking & Alerts

Automations show error counts directly on the automation row. The contacts section indicates failed leads with a red icon indication.

To view them:

  • Open the automation

  • Find the Segment node

  • Click the number next to "Failed" to open the CRM with filtered results

You can also manually filter by automation and status inside the CRM.

Common Causes of Errors:

  • Missing or invalid LinkedIn/email data

  • Sender profile disconnected or proxy failure

  • Deleted nodes while leads were still in progress

Types of Errors:

  • A few isolated failures are normal and usually recoverable

  • Mass failures may indicate larger setup issues or third-party blocks

What You Can Do:

  • Pause and investigate affected automations if you see large error spikes

  • Check your settings for sender profiles, proxy, or message nodes

  • Retry failed leads once the issue is resolved (via CRM or segment restart)

Important: Most issues are temporary. If they persist beyond 24 hours, contact support for help.
