If leads are stuck in "In Progress," it could mean two things:
1. The system detected a reply from these leads. If you're not using the "send always" toggle on the Send Message/ Send Email node, the message won’t be sent unless you manually confirm that the automation should continue.
By default, GetSales pauses automated messages for a lead when they reply to a LinkedIn message or an email. This ensures that you can follow up with the lead manually, providing a more personalized experience. If you prefer that automated messages continue to send even after a lead replies, you can enable the setting labeled "send always, even if contact replied" on the Send Message/Email nodes. This allows the automation to proceed without interruption, ensuring that your scheduled messages reach the lead as planned. Additionally, the sender profile used to send the message/email does not affect this behavior; automation will pause universally across all profiles when a lead replies.
Until you manually unpause or cancel them from the automation, they will remain stuck in "In Progress." Here’s how to find these leads:
Click "In Progress" on the segment node: you'll be re-directed to the CRM, where a list of In Progress contacts will appear. Apply the additional filter Pipeline Stage = Replied.
2. Check if the automations are generally working. If so, the required automation may have a lower priority or the task is scheduled for a later time. You can click on the counter of the node to see the date & time for the task to be executed.
3. Contacts can be stuck on the Send connection node If you’re using a free LinkedIn account and trying to send connection requests with a message, you may hit a limit (usually around 10 per month). To fix this, either remove the message from your connection request or activate the toggle to send the connection without a message.
