GetSales uses proxies to make LinkedIn and Email automation safe and stable. This article explains how proxies work, what options you have, and how to avoid common issues.
What Are Proxies and How Do They Work?
A proxy is an intermediary server that hides your original IP address.
GetSales is not a proxy provider, but we maintain a pool of IPs purchased from trusted vendors such as BrightData.
All proxies occasionally experience downtime.
How GetSales helps:
Proxies are automatically pinged and reconnected when they go offline.
If a proxy breaks, GetSales automatically substitutes it with another one.
Can I Use My Own Proxy?
Yes — you have two options:
Using GetSales proxies (default)
Our pool includes proxies from almost all countries.
If a proxy fails, we automatically replace it.
Using your own proxy
You have full geo control (choose any location you need).
If your proxy breaks, we cannot replace it.
Keep in mind: one sender profile automation consumes around 3 GB/month of traffic.
Important: If you share a GoLogin session with us, you must use your own proxy.
Which Proxy Should I Choose for LinkedIn?
Best option: the country shown on your LinkedIn profile.
Alternative: the country you usually access LinkedIn from.
If not available: choose a nearby country or popular destinations (e.g., USA or Germany).
You can also request that a specific country proxy be added to our pool.
For maximum control, use your own proxy.
Where Can I Buy Proxies?
If you want to use your own proxy (e.g., for a missing location):
Providers like Proxy-Seller and Proxy-Cheap offer affordable dedicated residential IPs.
Pricing: about $2–3/month.
Setup: usually takes just 5 minutes.
Can I Manage Proxies for Email Inboxes?
Currently, you cannot assign your own proxies to email inboxes.
Planned: in 2026, we will release this option for added flexibility.
Wrong IP Address Detected by LinkedIn
We use reliable providers and show you accurate geolocation data.
Sometimes, LinkedIn detects the wrong country because it uses outdated IP databases.
This issue is common across all LinkedIn automation providers.
