Using GoLogin with GetSales

How to download GoLogin, access sender profiles through it, share profiles with team members, manage access, and troubleshoot common issues like missing profiles or Error 403.

Written by Nadia Martynova

GoLogin is the browser profile manager that powers sender profiles on GetSales. This article covers how to download GoLogin, access your sender profiles through it, share profiles with team members, and manage access.

Do I need a paid GoLogin subscription?

No. The desktop version of GoLogin works with all browser profiles created through GetSales, including those on the free GoLogin plan. You do not need a paid GoLogin subscription to use sender profiles managed by GetSales.

How to download and install GoLogin

Download the desktop GoLogin app from the official website: https://gologin.com

  1. Go to the bottom of the page.

  2. Select the version for your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

  3. Run the downloaded file to install GoLogin.

Note: You only need to install GoLogin once. After installation, sender profiles shared from GetSales will appear automatically in your GoLogin workspace.

How to open your sender profile in GoLogin

When you create a new sender profile in GetSales, it is not automatically visible in your GoLogin account. You need to share it first.

Sharing a sender profile with GoLogin

  1. Go to your sender profile in GetSales and click Manage.

  2. Click Share GoLogin.

  3. Enter the email address associated with your GoLogin account.

  4. The profile will now appear in your GoLogin workspace.

You can see which emails have access to a profile in the "Shared with" section on your sender's page.

💡 You can also open a sender profile directly from GetSales by clicking Manage → Open via GoLogin. This will redirect you to the GoLogin app or website.

Sender profile not showing in GoLogin

If you shared access but don't see the profile in GoLogin, the most common cause is a mismatched email address. The email you shared access with in GetSales must match the email registered to your GoLogin account.

How to check your GoLogin email

  1. Open the desktop version of GoLogin.

  2. Click the menu button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. Your registered email is shown in the account panel.

What to check

Compare this email to the one listed in the Shared with section on your sender's page in GetSales.

If they don't match, share the profile again using the correct GoLogin email:

  1. Click Manage on the sender profile in GetSales.

  2. Click Share GoLogin.

  3. Enter the correct GoLogin email address.

Note: Double-check for typos. Even a single wrong character will prevent the profile from appearing in GoLogin.

How to remove GoLogin access from a sender profile

There are two ways to remove access, depending on your GoLogin setup:

If you have your own paid GoLogin subscription

  1. Open GoLogin and find the sender profile.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the profile, then click Share.

  3. In the sharing window, remove or edit access for the email you want to revoke.

If you are using the GetSales GoLogin subscription

You cannot manage sharing directly. Please contact the GetSales support team and provide the sender profile name and the email address you want to remove.

Error 403: "You do not have access to this profile"

If your sender profile shows a Start Issue with the error "status code 403 — You do not have access to this profile", it means the profile is not shared with GetSales in GoLogin.

To fix this: share the sender profile to [email protected] in GoLogin.

Q: Can I add an additional LinkedIn account to GoLogin or do I need to set up a new GoLogin profile?

You can definitely add multiple LinkedIn accounts to your existing GoLogin profile. One GoLogin account can manage multiple LinkedIn profiles, which is convenient for team collaboration. To add a new LinkedIn account, follow the same process as setting up your first sender. On the second step called "Share GoLogin Profile", select the option "I have a GoLogin account" and type in your email that you use in GoLogin.

Q: How can I continue using my GoLogin account if the free plan has expired and is unpaid, and how can I manage user access for a GoLogin profile created through GetSales?

The desktop version of GoLogin works with all browser profiles created through GetSales, including those on the free plan. To share the GoLogin profile with other users, this can be done through the GetSales interface. Go to your profile at the provided URL, click on the "Manage" button, and select "Share GoLogin". In the popup, enter the email addresses of the users you want to invite (they must already be registered in GoLogin).

Q: How can I stop sharing my GoLogin account access with someone I previously granted access to?

If you use your own GoLogin account (not created by GetSales), open profile's settings, click Share, and remove the unwanted emails. Note that you should be the profile owner to remove users from there. If you use a profile created by GetSales, contact the support and ask them to remove the unwanted emails from sharing.

Q: How can I troubleshoot GoLogin account errors when using GoLogin in GetSales?

General Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Refresh the GoLogin application (Ctrl+R on Windows, Cmd+R on Mac).

  2. Use a VPN - Turn on a desktop VPN and attempt to run the profiles again.

  3. Switch your Internet Connection - Try sharing mobile internet from your phone to your desktop device and then running the profiles again.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact GetSales support with as much detail as possible.

Q: What OS should I use when creating a GoLogin profile/session and sharing it with GetSales?

If you're using your own GoLogin and share the profile/session with GetSales, make sure the session OS is Windows, not Mac OS.

Q: Why does the proxy location shown in LinkedIn or GoLogin differ from the location shown in GetSales?

Your active LinkedIn session or GoLogin proxy may show a different location from your proxy location in GetSales. This mismatch happens because LinkedIn and GoLogin use outdated IP databases and do a poor job of determining users' location. GoLogin's reliance on these outdated databases can cause a proxy to be inaccurately reported — for example, a proxy set to France might appear as Italy, with browser language set to Italian instead.

At GetSales, we show the correct proxy location because we check and test all proxies offered to our clients. GetSales uses BrightData proxies — the most reliable and stable proxy provider on the market.
