Overview
On a Flex plan, sender profile seats are distributed per team. The subscription owner controls how many sender profiles each team can use. If you see the error "You've reached max profiles number. To create more update your plan", it means your team's seat allocation has been reached - not necessarily that the entire subscription is full.
There are two scenarios depending on whether the Flex subscription still has unallocated seats.
Scenario 1: Free Seats Available in the Subscription
If the Flex subscription still has unallocated sender profile seats, the subscription owner just needs to reassign them to the team that needs more.
Go to User Settings → Teams management.
Find the team that needs more seats, click the "..." (actions) menu → Change subscription (or Add subscription if the team doesn't have one yet).
In the modal, select the Flex subscription in the Subscription field. You'll see how many sender profiles are still available next to each subscription.
In the Sender Profiles Count field, enter the new number of seats for this team.
Click Continue with selected.
The team will immediately get access to the new number of sender profiles.
Scenario 2: No Free Seats Left in the Subscription
If all seats in the Flex subscription are already allocated to teams, you'll need to add more seats to the subscription first, then distribute them.
Step 1: Add more seats to the subscription
Go to User Settings → Subscriptions.
On your Flex subscription card, click Manage → Upgrade.
Change the Sender Profiles Amount to the new total number you need, then click Confirm.
Paddle (our payment processor) will charge the prorated difference for the additional seats.
Step 2: Allocate the new seats to teams
Once the subscription is updated, follow the steps in Scenario 1 to distribute the new seats to the teams that need them.
Important Notes
Sender profiles, LinkedIn accounts, and email accounts all share the same seat limit per team. They cannot be configured separately.
The minimum number of sender profiles per team is 1.
If you want to switch from a Flex plan to a regular plan (Growth, Business, etc.), go to Manage → Upgrade on your subscription card and select a non-Flex plan.
Only the subscription owner can manage seat allocation and upgrade the subscription. If you're not the subscription owner, contact the person who manages billing for your organization.
