When you first send leads to the automation every lead is assigned to a basic sender profile randomly. The basic sender profile won't be changed, unless you delete leads and upload them again & send to the automation for the first time.

When and if you send lead to the automation again, we will check if the basic sender profile available and distribute lead to them. If the basic sender profile is not available, lead would be randomly distributed between available sender profiles of the segment.
