This article explains how to add leads to GetSales. Before starting any automation, you need leads in the system. There are several ways to upload leads, depending on your source.
Importing from LinkedIn Basic Search
GetSales provides a built-in LinkedIn scraper that lets you import contacts or accounts directly from LinkedIn basic search results.
How to import:
Run a LinkedIn basic search for your target audience (e.g., CEOs in a specific location).
Copy the search URL.
In GetSales, go to Contacts > Imports, and click Basic Search.
Choose the search type and paste the URL.
Choose a sender profile, assign tags, and confirm.
Important: LinkedIn only shows up to 1,000 contacts per basic search. Even if the result shows more, only the first 1,000 can be viewed and imported.
Importing from Sales Navigator
Sales Navigator offers advanced filters and is the best source for high-quality leads.
How to import:
Search for your target audience in Sales Navigator.
Copy the search URL.
In GetSales, go to Contacts > Imports, and click Sales Navigator Search.
Choose the search type and paste the URL.
Choose a sender profile, assign tags, and confirm.
Recurring imports:
You can enable recurring imports from saved searches.
To do this, click Show Advanced Settings when setting up the import.
Manual Uploads (CSV Import)
You can upload contacts from external sources (e.g., ZoomInfo, CrunchBase) using a CSV file.
Requirements:
The file must contain at least one unique identifier, such as LinkedIn ID or email.
GetSales will enrich imported leads with data like first name, company, recent posts, and more.
You can also create custom fields for business-specific data.

Importing with the Chrome (Orbita) Extension
For quick lead saving, you can use the GetSales Chrome extension. It also works in GoLogin’s Orbita browser.
How to use it:
Open a LinkedIn profile.
Save the lead using the extension.
Choose a list and customize details.
The lead is instantly added to GetSales, with all communication synced.
Importing with the GetSales API
Another option is to add leads using the GetSales API. This is recommended for teams that want to integrate external systems directly with GetSales.
What happens after uploading leads?
After upload, leads go through an enrichment process, where additional information such as experience, education, recent posts, and skills is added. Once enriched, leads are ready to be used in personalized automation campaigns.
