To enhance platform security and protect user accounts, LinkedIn has introduced mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users. If you're using LinkedIn with GetSales, you must enable 2FA to avoid interruptions in your automations.
Why This Matters for GetSales Users
Without 2FA enabled on your LinkedIn account:
LinkedIn may restrict or block your sender profile accounts
โYour automations in GetSales may fail because of restricted or blocked senders
To ensure uninterrupted performance, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA now.
What Is 2FA and How Does It Work?
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your LinkedIn login. After entering your password, you'll also need to enter a code generated by an authentication app on your phone โ typically a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.
How to Enable 2FA on LinkedIn (Step-by-Step)
Follow these instructions to enable 2FA on your LinkedIn account:
1. Log in to your LinkedIn account
2. Click on "Me" in the top right corner, then click "Settings & Privacy".
3. In the left-hand menu, go to "Sign in & security" > "Two-step verification".
4. Click "Set up". LinkedIn will ask you to enter your password.
5. Choose Authentication App as the verification method
We recommend using Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
6. Scan the QR code with your app
Use your authentication app to scan the QR code provided by LinkedIn.
7. Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app
This confirms setup. Click Verify to finish.
That's it! Two-factor authentication is now enabled on your LinkedIn account.
Best Practices for GetSales Users
Make sure 2FA is enabled on all LinkedIn accounts used in GetSales sender profiles.
โIf you enable 2FA via mobile app or in any browser except for GoLogin, make sure to log in your senders in GetSales afterwards.
